results of the 2nd 30-day investigation at Hillside cemetery in state center, Iowa

The Night Watchman and Christina Schumacher did a second 30-day investigation at the Hillside Cemetery in State Center, Iowa. Using the same mapped out area as previously used, we went the full 30 days from 9:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. each night and made sure we kept track of all the necessary areas that are considered important in the paranormal investigating field:  weather, geomagnetic field and solar rays through NOAA, gauss meter readings and infrared thermometer readings.

24 photos per night were taken -
720 photos total
372 photos showed orbs
26 amazing orbs were captured
98 photos showed fair orbs
248 photos showed very poor orbs
in 30 days of investigation, we had 368 EVP's and 26 amazing photos.

If you've viewed the results from the first 30-day investigation, you will see that we only recorded 12 evp's the first time around. Now, look at the stats above... 368 evp's in 30 days! Quite a difference!
As for the photos, the amount of "amazing" photos from the first investigation was 16, so we are a bit further ahead there. However, what we termed "fair" orbs, though larger in number than the first investigation photos, were truly just "fair". In other words, nothing to write home about.
We started out the first investigation with the theory that going to a location for a period of time might allow us to have a relationship with the spirits that might be visiting the location at the time, thus giving us better photos and evp's. We had some really amazing photos in the first investigation, but very little communication. This time around, we had a great deal of communication and very few "brag" photos.
It appears that the spirits did not mind us taking a break between the two investigations. The fact is, we spent 60 days in one place and came out with some incredible evidence. Of course, there are those who will say that an evp doesn't mean anything if it is not directly in answer to a question that's been asked, but we do not agree. As far as we are concerned, if the whisper or voice on the recorder is not ours, then it's "someone's voice" and worth paying attention to. Are they "spirit" voices? No one can say for sure, but Hillside Cemetery does not have any houses around it - the closest being about one mile away - so chances of picking up voices from telephone lines or whatever the speculations are on this, is nigh impossible. We feel that it may be possible that the veil was lifted just a bit more on this second investigation than we had been allowed the first time. Are we building a relationship? It is possible.

Let's step back in time a little bit and show you the actual location of our two 30-day investigations.
We chose a 40' x 26' area of the Hillside Cemetery (photo and layout below) that appealed to us. Our first investigation began on October 3, 2005 and we went every night from 8:00 p.m. to 8:10 p.m. for 30 days.
The second investigation began on April 1, 2006 and went, every night, from 9:00 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. for 30 days.
